Mission Trips
There is nothing that grows and shapes your faith more than going on a mission trip. It makes your own faith more solid, gives you boldness to share your faith. To make a difference for other people is a great way to grow personally.
We have mission trips to different locations every school break. You can join us to locations near and far and with different kinds of program. It will be perfect for you weather you love to evangelize on the streets or rather wants to serve and help with practical needs and care for people. We work with kids, youth, students, families, special needs and adults. Going together on a trip like this is amazing community and fellowship.

Serbia
Serbia is one of the most exciting countries in the Balkans. During the winter break 2026, we at YWAM Skien will send 90 people to this amazing country, where we will share the gospel of Jesus. What if you lead someone to Jesus this winter break? On the team trip, you will be able to use yourself in many areas. Here are some of the things you can do: women's work, student and youth work, charity work among the city's poor, and work with vulnerable and children.
Tanzania

In Easter, we will go for a missions trip to Tanzania! We will travel to Arusha in the north of Tanzania, close to Kilimanjaro. We will visit the YWAM base in Arusha and New Vision Sports Club (NVSC). If you like football, this is the trip to join! There will be plenty of opportunities to get to know and play football with the boys who are part of NVSC. However if you are not such a fan of football, this is still a fantastic trip to join. There will be house visits among the locals, practical ministry and you will get to experience the culture in Tanzania. We will also have worship, bible studies, prayer and lots of fun in our team. There will also be a possibility of going on a safari!
June 19-23, 2026
RISK Europe
On the 19th to 23rd of June, we will send one team to every nation of Europe at the same time. We will gather to be sent from Skien Friday night, then we fly out to all the different nations Saturday morning. We will share the gospel, care for people, pray, and preach hope in every single nation. Tuesday, we will all gather back in Skien to celebrate what God has done and seek His heart for Europe.
You can sign up alone or together with friends. If you would like to lead the team yourself we could have a chat about what that means. If not we will have two team leaders that take care of travel, program, and accommodation. You pay a sign up fee that covers the time in Skien in the beginning and the end, the rest of the cost will be organized in your team.
You can pick a country when you sign up, and you get a final approval after that.
